My favourite places to visit in the city!

  • Street Art!

It's almost impossible to miss but Reykjavik is home to some of the greatest murals and street art pieces in the world.
Its definitely worth your time to walk the many side streets of the city, hunting for these masterpieces.
If you need a little help finding them, many of them are actually Pokestops in the popular Pokemon Go! app!

    Reykjavik

  • Tjörnin

The city pond! If I am ever in need of some quiet time to recharge my batteries or help me find that next burst of inspiration I will head down to the pond and relax. During the winter it tends to freeze over and on particularly cold days you may see people attempting some makeshift iceskating across its surface.

    Tjörnin, 101 Reykjavík, Iceland

  • Kolaportið

Only open on Saturday and Sunday the Reykjavik flea market is one of the best ways to dive into the deep end of Icelandic culture and history. While parts of the market can feel a little like a tourist trap its the hidden treasure troves of Iceland's past that really make this place shine!

Tryggvagötu 19 , Old Harbour, Grófin, 101 Reykjavík, Iceland

  • Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre

No trip to Iceland is complete without a visit to the amazing Harpa concert hall! If you can visit it at night time then you will be amazing with the colours that they light up the building with!

    Austurbakki 2, 101 Reykjavík, Iceland

  • Perlan

Not only does this place have an AMAZING observation deck that offers a great view of the city skyline it also recently opened a glacier and Ice cave exhibit!

    Austurbær Reykjavík, Iceland
