Description
Join us for a chance to see the Humpback whales of the Eyjafjord in their natural habitat. Sunny weather brings vibrancy to the area and with this comes plenty of animals great and small. It is this ecosystem that attracts the whales to this area!
Our expert guides have plenty of experience in not only spotting these animals but also answering your questions about them. They know all about their behaviour, how they live and what they do so ask lots of questions!
The ship we use for these trips is the only high speed, modified, whale watching ship in the whole of Iceland. She is capable of carrying 200 people and everyone will get a great view with our cinematic viewing platforms.
High speed also means we can run plenty of tours every day which means high chances of sightings. It also means we can go deeper into the fjord to find where the whales might be hiding.
With ample indoor and outdoor space that includes a cafeteria we can ensure a comfortable ride for everyone.
Meet us at the floating pier Oddeyrarbót 2, next to the cultural centre Hof in Akureyri at least 15 min. before departure.
