This 3 hour Sea Angling trip is a perfect activity for people of all ages and skill levels. We head out from Reykjavík‘s Old Harbour and sail into Faxaflói Bay, where our experienced crew will find the best places to fish. If you have never been fishing before don‘t worry – it‘s very easy, and our crew will happily show you the ropes. This tour suits both the experienced fisherman and those who would just like to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery with a fishing rod in hand. You have a good chance of catching pollock, cod, haddock and Atlantic wolffish on this tour. On our way back to the harbour we BBQ your catch and serve it with potatoes and sauce – a perfect end to the day!

Itinerary
Board the boat at our dock in the Old Harbour and put on the protective clothing before heading out to the perfect fishing spots in the bay. Your guide will be there to assist you throughout the tour, and will clean and prepare your catch for you. As we head back to land, our crew will BBQ the catch on board and serve it with potatoes and sauce. Enjoy your meal on the boat, or ask ahead of time if you can take it home with you.

We had an amazing sea angling tour
We had an amazing sea angling tour with Special Tours today. Guides Sarah, Howie, George (and fourth crew member whose name we can't remember!) provided excellent service throughout the tour. We are traveling as a three generational family of 10, ranging in age from 3 to 63. Each of the guides went out of their way to teach the kids about what we were catching. We caught so many fish that in addition to grilling us supper, the crew sent us home with two bags of fillets for us to enjoy during our last week in Iceland. We highly recommend this excellent tour.
Great sea-angling tour
Just came back from a great sea-angling tour. It was so fun. We caught a lot of fish and saw a few whales, including the humpback! And although we didn't sail to the puffin island, I saw a few puffins. The staff was very nice, helpful and fun. On our way back, they grilled our catch. We had a good meal on board, with potatoes and sauce. Saved us a trip to the restaurant afterwards. And you can even buy drinks onboard, to enjoy with your meal. We had Brio (excellent beer) and were just thrilled with the whole tour. Thanks again. We loved it!
