The Blue Lagoon is located a short distance from the fishing port of Grindavík on the Reykjanes peninsula in the southwest. The Blue Lagoon is today one of Iceland’s most popular tourist attractions. It is created by water from the nearby Svartsengi geothermal power plant. Its warm, mineral- rich waters are said to be effective in the treatment of psoriasis and a variety of other skin complaints and it is certainly a great place for swimming and bathing.
Attention: Tours are only available during the Blue Lagoon’s opening hours. Availability to the Blue lagoon is limited. Pre-book for guaranteed access and save €5 per person. Duration: 3 hours (2 hour stop at the Blue Lagoon) Attention: Prices are per vehicle, not per person. When booking for 1-3 passengers you select 1 in “Transfer 1-3 persons (per vehicle)” but if you want two vehicles you select 2. Same applies when booking for 4-8 passengers.
Included: Pick-up at Keflavik International Airport, waiting in the Blue Lagoon and drop-off at Keflavik International Airport.
