Golden Circle and Horses from Reykjavik

Enjoy a day of history, culture and adventure as we take you on a trip around the golden circle combined with a short horseback ride

Your day will begin with pickup from the city of Reykjavik. We can pick up from most hotels in the city or from any of the designated pickup points in the city centre so just let us know where to collect you from.

Following on from pick up we will take you out of the city and along the famous golden circle route where you will see amazing locations such as Þingvellir, Gullfoss and Geysir.

You will also get to experience a horseback riding session during the day letting you witness this stunning nature from a different perspective.

Þingvellir National Park

National Park (Thingvellir) is Icelands most historic site and also a natural treasure. Walk between the tectonic plates and witness the magnificent lava formation.

Geysir

geothermal hot springs are one of Iceland’s most famous attractions as hot water bursts out of the ground every 5 to 10 minutes.

Gullfoss

Waterfall is one of Iceland’s most magnificent waterfalls. The powerful glacial river flows down into a narrow canyon with a tremendous roar.

Important information:

Pick-up operates on a 30 minute window so check your ticket for information on when you need to be at your pickup location. Please be ready at your pick up point with your voucher, either in digital or printed form.

Dress appropriately for the weather baring in mind that the surfaces at Geysir can sometimes be wet. It is also recommended you wear comfortable shoes.

You will be traveling in a tour bus that is very spacious and comfortable. There is not a bathroom but there will be plenty of stops where facilities can be used.

This tour is 10 hours, You spend at least 30 minutes at the major stops giving you plenty of time to enjoy the nature and snap some photos.

Lunch is included on this tour and will be provided at the Eldhestar farm.
