A trip to Flúðir and the relaxing geothermal nature bath called the Secret Lagoon.
This trip is a simple one, but a lovely alternative to the Blue Lagoon if you would like to see the interior of the country. We provide a round-trip transfer to the relaxing hot spring nature bath, which is known as “Gamla Laugin” by the locals. No matter the weather, it is always nice to soak in a warm hot spring and enjoy the amazing surrounding scenery.
You will enjoy seeing the countryside as we make our way to the town of Flúðir, where the pool is located. The lagoon is an old natural crystal clear lagoon, and one of the oldest natural geothermal pools in Iceland. Around it are beautiful geothermal hot springs and one of them erupts every few minutes.
The water in the lagoon is at a comfortable temperature of 36-40°C (or around 97-104°F). On site you can enjoy short and easy walks around the lagoon.
Please note that admission fee to the lagoon and towel is included in the price, but you need to remember to bring your bathing suit.
Pick up from Hveragerði would be at Sunnumörk at 08:10 and from Selfoss in front of Hotel Selfoss or at the Campsite at 8:30. Please specify.
