The south coast is a smorgasbord of scenery and best enjoyed from the comfort of one of our customised vehicles.
Drive from Reykjavík to the east going through Hveragerði, Selfoss, Hella and Hvolsvöllur.
After that we‘ll find the waterfall Seljalandsfoss and it‘s cousin Gljúfrabúi hidden in the mountain
From there on the southcoast road we find Skógarfoss, a massively powerful waterfall
After that we‘ll turn north up to Sólheimajökull – possibility of a glacier walk
Or next turn to Mýrdalsjökull, where we have the chance of snowmobiling
From there we‘ll take the road around Pétursey
Then we‘ll go to Reynisfjara and do a nice stop so we can walk around and enjoy the scenery
Lunch stop in Vík
Next stop will be Hjörleifshöfði and see the cave there. A very rich story as he was the brother of Ingólfur Arnarson who is believed to have found Iceland in 847 A.D.
On the way back in good conditions we drive to the top of Ingólfsfjall and link these two stops together.
