Experience some of the best sights of the south coast combined with a hike on a glacier
This tour combines a trip along the south coast where you will be able to see some of the stunning waterfalls that the south of Iceland has to offer along with the main attraction: A glacier hike!

This is the glacial tongue then extends south from the Mýrdalsjökull glacier. The spectacular surroundings are marked by rugged rock formations shaped by the glacier
Skógafoss is a mighty, 65m tall waterfall along the southern coast. The view from the top is almost legendary for the amazing contrast in landscapes it offers you.
Seljalandsfoss is the second waterfall visited as we travel back to the city and this one holds a special surprise, a pathway that leads behind the waterfall offering a very special view.
Important information:
Pick-up’s operate on a 30 minutes pick up window. Please be ready at your pick up point with your voucher, either in digital or printed form. Your ticket will also tell you if you need to be ready 30 minutes before your departure time or after your departure time.
Dress appropriately for the weather baring in mind that the area at Seljalandsfoss can sometimes be wet. It is also recommended you wear hiking shoes.
You will be traveling in a bus that holds approximately 15 people but is very spacious and comfortable. The guide to client ratio is 1:12.
There is not a bathroom on the bus but there will be plenty of stops where facilities can be used.
This tour is 10 hours long including travel time and the time you spend at each location. You spend at least 30 minutes at the major stops giving you plenty of time to enjoy the nature and snap some photos. The Hiking portion of the tour should last for around 2 hours.
Lunch is not included, but there will be plenty of opportunity to buy food.
Pick-up from your hotel in Reykjavík, a guided visit to Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss and Sólheimajökull in a bus, glacier walking with a certified glacier guide and a all necessary equipment for glacier hiking.
Warm outdoor clothing, waterproof jacket and pants, some headwear and gloves. Good hiking shoes are recommended and can be rented if you do not have them.
