Buggy & Whales

Description

When in Iceland one of the most difficult choices to make comes down to day trips... Do you go for something calm and relaxing like whale watching? Or do you try for one of the high octane, adrenaline pumping adventures?
We have a better question! Why not both?

We are happy to present our buggy and whales combo tour!
Our base camp is close to the city and after picking you up from your accommodation (or bus stop) we will take you there. This is where you will receive your safety gear and safety talk. No experience is necessary and our expert guides will make sure you know everything you need for a safe and fun buggy adventure
Generally speaking, we recommend that people go in groups of two as you can sit side by side in the buggy!

We will drive off-road on a variety of terrains as we head for Úlfarsfell mountain. The ride to the top is a chance to experience the thrills of buggy riding. When you get there, a fantastic view across the whole city will be waiting for you.
Following this we head back to the city to get ready for part two of your day!

The old harbor is one of the coziest parts of town and a great spot to refuel! There are many restaurants/cafés here and we would only be too happy to tell you some of our favourites!
After lunch is when the whale watching begins. The boat is waiting as you head off in search of magnificent Mink whales and the other rich marine life of Faxaflói bay. A 3-hour guided sea tour provides a fascinating insight into the life of the sea, and great views back to Reykjavik.
